Infinium Logistics Solutions has supported the UK’s largest car park operator NCP, with the implementation of their first Hermes ParcelShop located at Barbican, London.
The NCP car park provides an ideal and convenient way to either collect or drop-off parcels and is perfectly positioned to serve existing customers, passing footfall and local residents.
Anyone can use the Hermes ParcelShop at NCP Barbican, Aldersgate Street, EC1A 4HY which is open between 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 6pm on a Sunday. The ParcelShop is located within the office next to the barriers.
The ParcelShop is not just limited to NCPs own customers, who already use the car park. It is also open to passing footfall on Aldersgate Street which is situated in a vibrant area of the City of London, also known as the creative heartbeat of the financial district. It is also situated next to the iconic Barbican Estate which has 6,500 residents, making up more than half the population of the City of London. Now they can walk just across the road to pick up and send parcels.
“This Hermes ParcelShop is the first of many Pick Up Drop Off (PUDO) operations that will be introduced within NCP over the coming weeks and months,” says Paul McCormack, MD at Infinium Logistics Solutions. “It makes perfect sense to incorporate this type of delivery and collection service within car parks as many sites are easy to access, conveniently located and have the capacity to offer complementary services”
