Infinium Logistics, the European asset management and energy transition specialist, announces that it has hired Cheryl Perry as its Senior Development Manager. This strategic appointment, a new role within the company, underscores Infinium’s commitment to revolutionizing commercial transport through the development of large-scale Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
Cheryl joins Infinium Logistics from Amazon, where she was responsible for developing its EV off-site van storage solutions across the UK and Ireland, in addition to managing other complex construction projects. Her wealth of experience arrives at a pivotal time for Infinium as it embarks on a crucial phase of asset development and customer engagement.
In 2022, Infinium launched its FleetHubs property investment platform to create the next generation of charging assets for global fleets, driving a cost-effective, sustainable and efficient transportation ecosystem. Having secured its first five strategic assets in the UK and with an active pipeline of further assets across Europe, this year its focus is on the development and delivery of these innovative infrastructure solutions. Cheryl’s role will be instrumental in advancing these initiatives.
Phil Bayliss, CEO of Infinium Logistics, comments: “Having raised significant capital to invest in this important new asset class and made strong progress in acquiring strategic sites, we are now focused on development and connecting with our customer strategies. Cheryl’s extensive experience in development and EV charging infrastructure will greatly advance our mission to create enduring infrastructure that benefits businesses and the planet.”
Cheryl Perry, Senior Development Manager, added: “This is an opportunity to enact tangible step-change not only for Infinium but also for the businesses in need of this infrastructure, which in turn will deliver a real benefit to the world around us. I’m keen to move forward at pace, forging partnerships with like-minded businesses, so that through collaboration we can develop sites fit for future commercial fleets.”
With 20 years’ project management experience, Cheryl is renowned for her dynamic leadership and ability to navigate complex business transformations. Her expertise in managing diverse project portfolios and her skill in stakeholder management are crucial to Infinium’s growth ambitions. Her career includes significant project roles within both local and national Government, NHS Trusts and private sector infrastructure development, demonstrating her adaptability and excellence across various industries.
