Infinium Logistics has created a partnership with Dutch storage and green city transportation company, City Hub. The new partnership has enabled Infinium to open its first hyperlocal logistics hub in the Netherlands.

Located in Utrecht, the City Hub facility provides Infinium client ‘Moby Bikes’ with an excellent instant operational base for them to expand their business. Infinium is also supporting Moby Bikes with their expansion plans in the UK and other parts of Europe with hyperlocal hub facilities.

Moby Bikes offer delivery couriers a turnkey solution with no upfront purchase cost, no long-term contracts, weekly-based payments, repairs and maintenance, when needed. For that operation to be successful they need flexible space to manage their fleet and maintenance programme.

“The City Hub partnership has given us the footprint to commence our operations in the Netherlands, supporting our global base of logistics and mobility clients” said Amarjit Pall, Infinium Logistics Channel Director of Hyperlocal Hubs. “We can expand into other cities throughout the Netherlands with the help of City Hub and are looking forward to further developing this successful partnership in the months and years to come.”

Rising awareness of the benefits of cargo bikes is contributing to its rapid growth in adoption globally. According to The Brainy Insights, the cargo bike sector is expected to hit USD 3.8 Billion by 2030. This includes 2,3 and 4 wheeled product types.
